Northwood Little League turns 47 years old this spring! Originally founded in 1968 by a group of parents who decided to make a place in our community for kids to play baseball, our organization has stood the test of time. Our league has come a long way since that opening day in 1968!
We have had untold success, placing young men and women in baseball and softball programs at the high school, intercollegiate, and professional ranks for the last 47 years. Known as one of the South Carolina’s most successful leagues, Northwood has produced 85 District Champions, 36 State Champions, 26 Regional Appearances and 2 World Series Appearances! One of our Tournament teams played on ESPN in 2013!
We currently operate under a Volunteer Board of Directors that governs our league. Our goal at Northwood is to have a league where every child in our boundary has an opportunity to play baseball in an instructive and safe environment. By doing this, we strongly believe that we create a sense of community where all of our players and families grasp the real meaning of baseball which is team work!
